Welcome
to the official website of The Pennsylvania Paranormal Association,
featured on Animal Planet's new series, The Haunted. The PPA was established to scientifically
research and investigate claims of
paranormal activity and hauntings in conjunction with assessing psychic
impressions gathered through a credible psychic medium as it relates to each location.
Based out of
the Scranton area in the northeast corner of Pennsylvania, the primary purpose
of The PPA
is to respond to accounts of unexplained
or unusual activity that may be occurring at a location and conduct an
on-site study of the phenomena at no cost to the client.
The
PPA
does
not respond with the initial intention of proving or disproving a
haunting but rather takes an
impartial approach at interviewing
witnesses and investigating the activity in an effort to document
whatever events are being reported by the client. The PPA then
uses all available resources to come up with logical answers for
unexplained or unusual activity that a client may be
experiencing while keeping in mind that a haunting may exist. By taking
a comprehensive, investigative approach,

THE
PPA is currently conducting a long term study as part of a major
research project to record statistical data on the effect PPA psychic
medium Virginia Centrillo has on locations believed
to have paranormal
activity. Correlations will be studied between psychic
impressions of a location and the accuracy of that information as
compared to
actual historical events of the location, the activity currently taking
place at that location and the results of the medium "crossing
the
spirits" or "cleansing" the location. A post-cleansing
study will be conducted to determine these results.
An additional study is
underway by THE PPA to evaluate responses in our police
trained
K9 at locations believed to have paranormal activity. We
will
collect statistical data on factors such as changes in respiratory or
cardiac rate, certain specific alert indicators and general abnormal
behavior just prior to or during periods of activity in an effort to
validate animal awareness beyond human capability.
This
project is consistent with the ideals of THE PPA and the ongoing effort
to help clients, as well as any spirits or entities that may inhabit a
location, and to better understand the interconnectedness of energies
that often occur at these locations.
