Location Status:
Two story, four bedroom residence with a full attic and basement built in 1900. The home is occupied by two adults, a two year old boy and a six months old girl.

Reported Activity:
Since the clients moved in several months ago, they have heard voices, things being moved, extremely loud bangs and footsteps. The clients report they have had lights turning on by themselves. The family has heard the sound of dresser drawers moving in their son’s room then walked in to that room and found them wide open. Shortly after, they heard the handle to the attic door in their son’s room jiggle and went back in to find the door wide open. The clients closed the door and went back into the spare room then head over their son's baby monitor, breathing and heavy, thudding footsteps. One night while the clients were lying in bed, the bedroom door started opening and shutting all by itself. The clients report that on a daily basis, they hear loud thuds and footsteps coming from the upstairs. It has gotten to the point where the son does not want to sleep in his room. The son will get very upset in that room but will sleep almost anywhere else in the home or at his grandmother’s house. On one particular day, the mom of the house saw what looked like someone in a black hoodie walk by the back door and pass the window. When she ran outside, there was no one was there. By having an investigation, the clients hope to find out if there is something really going on there and to have whoever it is move on if there is someone there so her son is not afraid.

EMF (Electro-Magnetic Field):
Standard baseline readings were taken throughout the home with expected spikes near electrical appliances. Very high levels were discovered in the son’s bedroom along the outside wall, the girl’s bedroom along the outside wall, the upstairs bathroom and along the wall to the right of the front entrance door. These high fields are believed to be caused by natural electrical sources around the home and could cause a variety of sensations or experiences for someone who was hypersensitive to these types of fields.

Psychic Impressions:
When Virginia arrived at this home, she picked up on a male spirit named “Harold” who went by the nickname, Harry. Information was confirmed by the clients that Harry was a previous property owner.

When Virginia started to communicate with Harry, he related that he was looking for his wife, Faye and the rest of his family. Virginia related that Harry was very confused because up until the current tenants, only his family had lived in the home. Harry’s wife had recently moved and rented the home to what he considered strangers. Virginia received impressions that Harry loved to visit the client’s son while he was sleeping because the client’s son sleeps in the same room that Harry’s son did. Virginia also picked up on a female spirit named “Elizabeth” who was also referred to as “Sadie”. Virginia felt that Sadie was connected to Harry and his family.  During the investigation, Virginia picked up on a little boy who was hit by a car in front of the house. Virginia felt he died between the 1950’s and 1960’s.

Conclusion:

During the investigation on this particular date, investigators were not able to document any physical evidence at this location. Investigators did discover high electromagnetic fields in several areas of the home. These high EM fields can cause someone sensitive to the EMF'S to have sensations that could be perceived as paranormal but are in fact, natural physiological responses.  Some theories suggest that in areas where these fields are present, it can magnify paranormal activity if it is actually present. Whenever someone starts to feel sensations in these areas, the high EM fields should be considered first as a possible cause.  Investigators did find that a nearby dispatching company was transmitting on a frequency that was intermittently being picked up by the teams walkie talkies.Bleed-over from the dispatching company is the most probable cause for the client hearing a male voice over the baby monitor.  Although investigators found possible alternative explanations for some of the activity, much of the reports could not be ruled out.  Physically, this investigation did not reveal enough evidence to  confirm a haunting was taking place but there is not enough information at this time to rule out a haunting at this location.

Metaphysically, Psychic Medium Virginia Centrillo feels that the cause of the activity in the home was a result of a spirit named “Harry” searching for his family. With the help of PPA members, Virginia redirected Harry to the location where his wife, Faye is now residing. When Virginia performed the clearing, she felt that she released “Elizabeth/Sadie” and the little boy who died as a result of a car accident. Virginia does not feel that there is any negative energy in the home that could harm the family that is now residing there and because there are so many deceased family members of the client that watch over her, they bring a protective and positive energy to the home. Virginia feels that the client is very open herself and by utilizing the information given to her by Virginia, she can harness and develop her gift.
