Two story, three bedroom townhouse built between 1985 and1988

Reported Activity:
The occupants have been at this location for six years and have reported that the activity started about two to three years ago. The activity is reported to occur on a weekly basis and mostly at night time. Claims of activity include hearing strange noises such as footsteps, banging and scratching on the back door. Seeing physical manifestations and shadows. The clients have witnessed things being thrown and are concerned for their children's welfare. The clients believe the activity revolves mostly around the wife and their daughter to a lesser extent. The clients report that their dog will follow something around the house and act different at times. By having an investigation done, the clients are hoping to get an explanation for the activity and to get anybody that may be there to leave so they and their children can have peace.

VR6 - Digital Voice Recorder: Stationary in the girl's bedroom with dynamic microphone - At 9:46pm, this device recorded a series of knocks in the girl's bedroom. All investigators were in the command area at the time and nothing appears to move on video at the time of the recording. The cause could not be determined. The clients reported the sound is exactly what they have been hearing but could not figure out where it was coming from.

EMF (Electro-Magnetic Field):
Standard baseline readings were taken throughout the home with expected spikes near electrical appliances. Very high levels were discovered in the boys bedroom from an outlet by the window, the girls room from an outlet by her bed, the upstairs bathroom from an outlet over the sink, the kitchen area around the refrigerator and in the laundry room in general. These high fields could cause a variety of sensations or experiences to someone who was hypersensitive to these types of fields.

Investigator Feelings / Personal Experiences:
Mark: Nothing to report

Stan: While sitting in the command with Virginia, they heard on two occasions what sounded like something very small being thrown across the garage floor. Later, while doing a cleansing at the end of the night with Virginia, Stan reported seeing what looked like a small shadow move across the master bedroom.

Psychic Impressions:
When Virginia arrived at the home, Virginia kept receiving the names “Leonard” and “Lawrence”. As Virginia walked through the home, she received two more names; “Helen” and “Margret”. These names were confirmed by the Clients to be previous owners of the home. Virginia felt that Lawrence died in the home and was trying to get the owners attention.

Living Room: Virginia picked up on a male spirit hanging around between the front window and the couch. Virginia felt this spirit was Leonard. Virginia felt that Leonard did not die in the home but loved the home and wanted to be there.

Kitchen - Back Door: Virginia also picked up information that a spirit was knocking at the door. Virginia also felt that this was Leonard.

Upstairs Daughters Bedroom: Virginia felt that “Helen” would hang out by the closet.

Upstairs Boy’s Bedroom: Virginia picked up that this was where Lawrence had passed away from cancer complications. Virginia also picked up on a spirit of a little boy who Virginia felt was from a previous farm that this home was built on.

Master Bedroom: Virginia picked up that Lawrence hung out up in the Master bedroom and he bothered the owners at bed time.

Conclusion:
Based on the investigation on this particular date, investigators had a few experiences that seemed to back up a couple of the reports from the clients. Very high electromagnetic fields were also located in several areas which could enhance any activity if present or even cause a few physiological sensations that are not paranormal but are often perceived as such. Investigators were not able to document any physical activity at this location by audio, video or other means but at the same time, were not able to rule out any of the claims by the clients by any other realistic alternative explanations. At this time, from a physical perspective, a haunting could not be verified or dismissed as the cause of activity.

Metaphysically, Virginia feels that the mother of the home is very psychically open, as well as her daughter and needs to learn to harness her gift and protect herself because of her profession of being a hospice nurse. Because the mother and daughter are open, they need to educate themselves on this ability and may experience different levels of energy during their lifetime. Virginia and the PPA gave Information to the owners to help them keep the energies up in the home but also recommend reading several select books which may help in understanding this gift. Virginia also suggests that the owners look up information on Feng Shui convex mirrors because they have protective qualities. Virginia feels these mirrors should be placed in the front of the house above the door and also over the back door to help ward off stray spirits.

With help of other PPA members, Virginia helped cross over the spirits she felt were in the home. During the crossing, Virginia felt that the spirit of Margret, who was not Earthbound, was there waiting to help take the other three home, into the light.
