Location:  East Earl, PA - Lancaster County

Investigation Date and Duration:
August 6th, 2011 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Location Status:
Occupied bi-level, three bedroom residence with a finished basement

Reported Activity:
The PPA investigated this property just over a year ago and, after a “cleansing”, the clients reported the activity had stopped. Within the three weeks prior to this investigation, the clients stated the activity had started once again, progressively increasing, until the activity was occurring on a near daily basis, prompting the clients to call The PPA. The clients have been experiencing activity such as seeing dark masses, having the feeling like they were being touched and even being choked on one occasion, items, including furniture, being moved or are missing and hearing the sound of heavy footsteps coming down the hallway. The mother and daughter at this residence are both psychically open and agree that the feeling in the house is not the same as the last time and feels more negative. The activity has been occurring at all times of the day and night.

Psychic Impressions:
Since this was a second visit by The PPA, Virginia brought another psychic medium, Jack, to assist her and confirm the belief of a “subconscious manifestation haunting” resulting from the use of the same prescribed drug by both the mother and daughter. Virginia and Jack both feel that mother and daughter are psychic to varying degrees and the medication is stifling the advancement of their psychic ability. Virginia and Jack also feel that there is a subconscious human intervention manipulating the dynamics of the haunting. The psychic connection between the mother and daughter is hindering the release of the spirits, whom are feeding off of the clients. Virginia also picked up on the presence of a Native American woman and female child on the grounds from many years ago.

Conclusion:
During the investigation on this particular date, investigators did not have any personal experiences, nor were they able to document any physical activity occurring. On several occasions, the client's daughter pointed out activity that she had reported to be of a paranormal nature that would have just occurred. The reported incidents occurred during uncontrolled periods, such as prior to equipment being set up, during breaks and after equipment breakdown, but not during the physical investigation periods when teams were active. The areas of the reported incidents were either in areas where no cameras had been placed or after cameras had been removed. Some video was obtained leading to the possibility that the daughter may have been responsible for at least two of the events. With this in mind, all incidents had to be ruled out for this investigation that were reported to investigators because they were not captured on video to back up the claims. This does not account for all of the reported activity the clients are reporting, especially when the clients are home by themselves and can attest that no human intervention was the cause. The PPA does believe that the daughter may be using the possibility of a haunting as an opportunity for personal gain with personal issues within the family.

From a metaphysical perspective, Virginia felt that there was some activity occurring in the house, but this was not a haunting in the classical sense. Jack backed up Virginia's belief that, because of the clients physical, emotional and spiritual state, combined with being psychically open, they may have attracted a lower type of energy that was now connected to them and feeding off of their vibrations.

Prior to leaving, Virginia and Jack explained to the family what their findings were during the investigation. Virginia also supplied written information/instructions for maintaining positive energies in their home and around themselves. Virginia helped both mother and daughter come to terms with their gift and advised them of how to start working with it to reduce the activity that they themselves have manifested. Virginia believes she was also successful in releasing the Native American woman and child.
