Investigation Report

Reported Activity:

The family has reported toys playing on there own, the TV turning on by itself, the sound of running and jumping, bangs, sounds of something rolling on the floor, shadows, a hand print that appeared on the wall that did not match the size of anyone there, swirls in drywall dust, glitter face on floor, hand like bruises on their daughters' legs, their dog and cat will look at walls or in certain areas of the house when no one is there. The family has heard pounding on doors, voices, the feeling of being touched, saw what looked like one of their girls walking up the stairs and turning the corner but both girls were accounted for. A cubby door in one of their girl's room opened and closed by itself, a refrigerator door opened a couple times and when they finally told it to stop, it did. When they asked for it to reopen, it did that also. The Christmas tree lights went on by themselves and a non-resident stated they heard a "growling sound" in laundry room. The family has seen their computer turn on by itself and the cursor moved across the screen in many directions. The clients believe that they may have a spirit of a child in the house and would like confirmation and to know that it won't escalate into something more.

EMF (Electro-Magnetic Field):
Standard baseline readings were taken throughout the building with expected spikes near electrical appliances. No anomalous EMF spikes were detected.

Psychic Impressions:

During the initial walk-through, Jan picked up on the energy of a male spirit in his 40's and the energy of a younger girl. Jan believed they may have been father and daughter and that the male was very protective and controlling of the younger girl. Jan felt the girl was around 12 to 14 years old. Jan picked up on a fire that occurred on or near this property and some type of tragedy that may have killed the man and younger girl. Jan felt the male energy had some sort of unfinished business and he was keeping the girl with him. Jan also felt like the man did not like the current residents renovating the home. Jan also reported that she felt like the energies of the spirits left the residence half way through the investigation.

Conclusion:
During the investigation on this particular night, investigators were not able to document any of the activity the clients were reporting. Investigators attempted to find logical answers for the claims of activity that had been previously reported but were not able to come up with any alternative explanations. No personal experiences were noted and the home was very quiet.

At this time, there is not enough physical information to confirm or dismiss a haunting at this location and additional time may be required to access the activity if it continues.

Jan will be working with the clients to try and release the spirits that she feels are present and cleanse the home. The PPA will monitor the home after the cleansing to see if any additional activity is present.
