This is a two story residence with a walk in attic and full basement built in 1905 or 1906 occupied by two adults and two children.


                                                               

Reported Activity:

When the family moved into this home a little over 4 years ago, they noticed the activity immediately. Loud bangs began to occur in different areas of the home with no known causes. A door to the attic opened and closed by itself several times with the family watching from a few feet away and an apparition of a man and of a little blond haired girl have been seen in the house. On other occasions, a dining room closet door flew open by itself, lights have turned on by themselves, shadowy like figures have been seen moving through different areas of the house, a little girl has been seen sitting on the end of the daughter's bed, footsteps and children's laughter have been heard coming from the second floor, the family dog appears to bark at something in a room but the room is empty and at other times he will lift his head up and look into another room as if he saw something. The family also reports having real creepy feelings in the basement.

Conclusion:

During the investigation on this particular date, investigators were able to rule out high EMF'S as a cause for some of the activity the family was experiencing. No above normal readings were measured in any areas of the home. Investigators did notice a high amount of bangs and knocks throughout the house but believe they are naturally occurring due to the age of the home and the wood expanding and contracting. As investigators moved through the house, popping of wood in other locations was noted as weight load and pressure adjusted to the movement. This was especially prevalent near the staircase.
Some shadow-like movement was observed in the 2nd floor hallway where reports of black mass figures or moving shadow figures were reported. The shadow-like movement that investigators observed was caused by headlights of vehicles passing by but in no way looked like a figure of a person. It is possible, however that when seeing the movement from the corner of one's eye, that something in the hallway is moving. This was especially noticeable from the front bedroom which has a clear view down the hallway.

No audio or video evidence was documented on this date and no personal experiences were noted. With the lack of evidence, this investigation remains undetermined. While no proof of spiritual activity was discovered on this date, no sources or natural causes were found for the activty. ThePPA will continue to work with this family in order to document any further activity and to look for normal or any paranormal causes for that activity.
