Open field areas with a wooded surrounding in an active part of
Gettysburg National Military Park.

Reported Activity:
This
was not one of our typical investigations nor did we anticipate
investigating this site, however, while on a trip to Gettysburg, PA,
Lauren and I met an overwhelming amount of local people who told us we
had to check out the battlefields and recommended the Devil’s
Den and Triangular Field areas which stand side by side. This is one of
the locations where the Union Army met the Confederate Army during the
Civil War and thousands of soldiers were killed. Many people report
seeing apparitions of soldiers in this area along with incredibly cold,
cold spots. Many people report taking pictures and mist like figures
appear in them. Others report hearing the sounds of phantom horses
running through the fields. With all the reports of activity, we had to
take some time out of our schedule to check it out for ourselves.

Conclusion:
In the short amount of time that we had to
investigate at Devil’s Den and the Triangular Field, we did
not find any significant evidence of paranormal activity or a haunting.
We did, however, have a great experience meeting one of the locals who
happened to be out in Triangular Field by himself taking a few pictures
on his own. After some intriguing conversation, this gentleman was
gracious enough to share some of his photos that he has taken in the
battlefields of Gettysburg over the years. I have to admit they were
some of the best evidentiary photos that I have seen capturing full
bodied apparitions and other anomalies by using a digital camera. I
would sincerely like to thank this man for sharing his time with us.
The great part about Gettysburg National Military Park is that it is
open to the public year round and anyone wishing to have an experience
in a haunted location can try to find something for themselves. I
recommend going there for the history, the beauty and of course, the
paranormal.
